Traction Update

Despite operating in stealth mode from February to September 2025, we are already gaining significant momentum with key stakeholders:

NGO Partnerships

  • A leading AI pause advocacy organization – Working closely with their DC head and president. The DC head co-authored our December 2024 Case document. Exploring joint private meetings/dinners in DC.

  • A major AI safety research institute – Their president signed our Open Call, while a prominent figure was instrumental in securing our $60,000 seed funding. Their new book, calling for a bold global treaty, shows strong alignment.

  • A leading International AI governance institute – Met with senior staff in early September 2025. Seeking support by framing our work as complementary to their stealth coalition of NGOs and non-superpower states.

US Security Establishment

We have connections to:

  • A major defense research corporation that participated in our G7 side event on AI treaty-making

  • A DC-based security and emerging technology center that suggested the Baruch Plan could be a model for AI

  • The former top US cyber diplomat who participated in our 2021 event on global treaties for secure digital communications and AI

Through our network, we hope to meet:

  • Two former directors of a key NSA cybersecurity directorate who held posts in previous years

  • Another top former official in the same directorate

  • A former Director of the NSA is likely to be met

AI Lab Engagement

We are engaging the global head of policy of one of the top 5 US AI labs, who previously suggested in a major publication that we may need a "Baruch Plan for AI." After reviewing our initial materials, they expressed interest in reviewing our Strategic Memo. We plan to meet them during our DC or SF tour portions.

Additional lab interest: We've had preliminary discussions with mid-level officials at three of the top five AI labs regarding participation in our proposed Global Public Benefit AI Lab initiative.

Vatican Engagement

We are pursuing meetings with key Vatican AI leaders, including those already engaged, those who have met in Rome (where we are based), and new contacts.

UN Missions Interest

While non-superpower nations can do very little until the US and China have led the way, over the last 24 months, we have received some traction from them in Geneva:

  • Received formal written interest from one of the two largest regional intergovernmental organizations

  • Held bilateral and multilateral meetings with interested states, especially from Africa and Europe

  • Met with five missions to the UN in Geneva via ambassadors or domain experts

  • Engaged with two large EU member states at the foreign ministry or the prime minister's office level

  • Details on specific countries and organizations are available on qualified request
