Who Has Funded Us

We are honored of the quality of our donors and deeply grateful to them:

  • June 2026: $45,000 from David Krueger, founder of Evitable, and Tsvi Ben-Tilsen via a Speculation Grant from the Survival and Flourishing Foundation.

  • April 2026: $20,000 from Ian McInnis Princeton graduate, and financial AI startup cofounder accepted in the 2026 program of YC, the world’s leading startup accelerator.

  • Oct 2025: $10,000 from Ryan Kidd, CEO of a $30m/yr AI educational institution funded by the Coefficient Giving (the largest NGO and donor in the AI safety space) and regrantor based in Berkeley, California.

  • Sep 2025: $2,000 from Troy Davis, international democracy activist.

  • Feb 2025: $60,000 from Steve Omohundro (one of the earliest and most recognized AI safety scientists) and two other funders from the Survival and Flourishing Fund (SFF), the 2nd largest funder in the AI safety sector—supported by Jaan Tallinn, founder of Skype and cofounder of the Future of Life Institute, the world's leading AI safety NGO.

  • Recurring Donations: We receive 560€/mo in recurring donations by two people, including Jens Groth. These proved critical at times.

Professional Volunteering

Since its foundation in July 2024 and until SFF's first February 2025 seed donation, the Coalition operated entirely on a volunteer basis.

We are very proud of the astounding progress we have made. With only one full-time volunteer staff member, we still managed to catalyze over 1,700 hours of volunteer work from our community, expand from six founding NGO partners to ten, and add over 25 exceptional team members and advisors.

We launched the Coalition on December 18, 2025, via an Open Call for a Baruch Plan for AI. This was accompanied by a detailed 90-page Case for a Coalition for a Baruch Plan for AI (v. 1), featuring 22 exceptional contributors, and an explanatory video.

Some team members and advisors have contributed at considerable financial and personal costs, demonstrating exceptional dedication, sacrifice and frugality. Here are all those who so far have contributed pro-bono 20 hours or more to the Coalition:
