Your gut feeling is right.

What's happening with AI is real.

And there's still something that you and I can do about it.

(A Case for Supporting and Donating to The Deal of the Century Initiative)

You're not imagining it.

What you sense happening with AI isn't science fiction—it's real.

Even the leaders building these systems openly admit there's a substantial chance it will soon not only replace most jobs, concentrate all power, but it could wipe out humanity.

The largest-ever survey of AI researchers found an average extinction risk estimate of 15%. While nearly all top AI CEOs and experts admit such risk, Musk and Amodei, along with Nobel laureate Hinton, place it at 20% — I repeat: 20%. Many others have much higher percentages. And most top experts estimate it will be within just a few years if we don’t change course.

You're not alone.

Public concern has been skyrocketing: In 2023, 55% of citizens surveyed in 12 countries were “fairly or very worried” about "loss of control over AI".

By 2025, 78% of US Republican voters believed artificial intelligence could "eventually pose a threat to the existence of humanity".

By March 2025, Americans “very or somewhat concerned” about AI “causing the end of the human race” were 37% and increased to 43% by July 2025.

In October 2025, 63% of US citizens believed it is “somewhat or very likely” that "humans won't be able to control it anymore" and 53% that "AI will destroy humanity".

And yet, nothing serious is being done.

Most world leaders are either sticking their heads in the sand or actively accelerating the race. The US and China are locked in a winner-take-all race to the brink, with no serious agreement even being discussed yet.

The uncomfortable truth.

It is incredibly difficult to face for many, but this is it: the future of our species rests overwhelmingly on Donald J. Trump, on whether he will be persuaded to co-lead a bold AI treaty with Xi.

Why? That's due to the short timelines to AGI and ASI, to the time needed to agree to a treaty of such scope, and Xi's consistent calls for global AI governance. Yet, no other AI advocacy organization has fully recognized this working fact and acted accordingly. We have.

But there is a glimmer of hope. 77% of Americans support a strong international AI treaty.

We’ve been there before. In the early years of 1946, scientists warnings and public concerns about the control of a new destructive technology, lead a pragmatic, realist US President, Harry Truman, to propose what is by far history’s most ambitious treaty.

Presented to the UN on June 14th 1946, coincidentally Trump’s date of birth, it prescribed the exclusive international control of nuclear weapons and global sharing of nuclear energy. It nearly succeeded. We have a second chance with AI.

We're seizing that chance. Our Coalition for a Baruch Plan for AI is running what may be the highest-leverage initiative imaginable: privately persuading key influencers of Trump's AI policy to lead him to co-lead with Xi a bold, timely US-China-led global AI treatyThe Deal of the Century

We've achieved remarkable results on minimal funding. With just $75K, we've built a 350-page Strategic Memo profiling every key Trump’s AI influencer, generated 85+ high-level contacts during a US tour in DC and the Bay Area, and created direct pathways to multiple target influencers. Now have an opportunity to scale 10-50x with moderate funding—or at minimum, maintain operations through 2026's critical political window.

Your donation directly powers this mission. We operate at ~$7,500/month—a fraction of typical DC policy organizations. Every dollar goes to persuasion, research, and travel. No fancy offices. No bloated staff. With a small donation, you could be part of a potentially incredibly impactful endeavor.

A Final Human-to-Human Appeal

The challenge is enormous, as are the forces at play. It may be tempting to succumb to powerlessness, by sticking our heads in the sand or watching doom unfold from the sidelines.

Success is highly uncertain. But given the nature of the challenge, its largely-neglected key chokepoint, our minuscule organization has a decent chance at having an incredibly outsized impact — just like the small David managed to kill the giant Goliath with a precisely-targeted and lucky sling shot.

So both ordinary citizens or wealthier philanthropists, like you, can play a unique, vital and historical role, even with a small contribution.

And then, how can we find true peace or look our children in the eyes if we do not at least try to do something to save their future? We have the unique privilege of having agency in the most consequential years of human history.

After all, is there anything more exhilarating and fulfilling than striving with good spirits and firm resolve to steer the course of history toward a positive future?

Let’s strive together with joy in doing the best we can to solve Humanity's greatest challenge, to ensure AI will turn out to be humanity's greatest invention rather than its worst, and last.
